Welcome to the Dragon Well web site! We’re glad you came in, and thought we’d tell you a little about how this restaurant came to be: We decided to create Dragon Well three years ago, after realizing how difficult it was to find a reliable, healthy, Chinese restaurant in San Francisco. First, however, we knew we had to gain some experience working in restaurants. After a few years of cooking, waiting tables and managing, we felt ready to start a place of our own. After six months of looking for locations, we found this delightful spot on Chestnut Street. We were then blessed to find some great people for our kitchen and wait staff, and opened our doors in June of 1998. In putting together our menu, we wanted to include traditional favorites like Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao Chicken, as well as introduce such authentic, delicious dishes as Steamed Fish and Hong Kong Noodles. We hope to show you that classically prepared, Chinese food is at once tasty, fresh and healthy. Please don’t hesitate to ask us any questions.
